Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park Swimming

Jasper National Park swimming is best in summer at PYRAMID, ANNETTE, and EDITH LAKES, which fill with locals and visitors on warm days. The shallow water and sandy lake floor make these lakes warmer than those to the south in Banff National Park.

HORSESHOE LAKE, south of town along the Icefields Parkway, is a popular cliff-jumping site for locals.

JASPER AQUATIC CENTRE (401 Pyramid Lake Rd., 780/852-3663) has an Olympic-size swimming pool, a wading pool, a steam room, and a hot tub.
