Banff National Park Campground Reservations in 2024

Parks Canada has released launch dates for Banff National Park campground reservations in 2024, as well as opening and closing dates for each campground.

Camping reservations for Banff National Park open at 8 am (MST) on January 26, 2024. Exactly 30 minutes before the 8 am opening time, click on the link at Parks Canada Reservations and you will be directed to a waiting page. At 8 am, everyone in the “waiting area” will be randomly assigned a place in the queue. Once your it’s your turn, you will have 30 minutes to make a reservation.

Banff National Park campground opening dates in 2024 are as follows:

Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court: May 2 (closes October 30)
Tunnel Mountain Village I: May 9 (closes October 6)
Tunnel Mountain Village II: year round
Lake Louise Hard-sided: year round
Lake Louise Soft-sided Tents/Trailers: May 31 (closes September 22)
Johnston Canyon Campground: May 23 (closes September 22)
Two Jack Lakeside Campground: May 9 (closes October 6)
Two Jack Main Campground: June 20 (closes September 2)
Rampart Creek Campground: May 31 (closes September 22)
Silverhorn Creek Campground:  May 31 (closes September 29)
