CANMORE HIKING ranges from an easy walk up GROTTO CANYON to ancient petroglyphs, a moderate hike to crystal-clear GRASSI LAKES, to a strenuous trek to the summit of HA LING PEAK.

CANMORE GOLFING centres on three courses, each with stunning mountain scenery and challenging designs.

Built for the 1988 Winter Olympics, the CANMORE NORDIC CENTRE is open for summer and winter sports, including mountain biking and cross-country skiing.

While not as well known as nearby Banff, the TOWN OF CANMORE has interesting galleries, lodging for all budgets, and eateries ranging from top-notch cafes to fine-dining restaurants.
