SWIMMING
Canadian Rockies Swimming
The best-known swimming spots are Canadian Rockies hot springs, which are scattered through the region and range from undeveloped natural springs to commercial complexes complete with spas. Hot springs are located in Banff, Jasper, and Kootenay National Parks, as well as the Columbia Valley. Other swimming options include hotel and motel pools, aquatic centres, and wild swimming in local lakes. The warmest wild swimming is in the Columbia Valley, including the lake at Invermere.
