  • Adult day lift ticket prices have risen 10-30% over the last three years.
  • Day passes at Canadian Rockies ski resorts remain significantly less expensive than Whistler, British Columbia, where an adult day pass is $209. At around 12 U.S. resorts day passes are over US$200 (C$260) for the 2022-23 season, topping out at US$259 (C$340) at Deer Valley.
  • In 1998, 25 years ago, Canadian Rockies adult lift passes ranged from $28 at Whitetooth (now Kicking Horse) to $46 at Sunshine Village.
  • Children aged under 6 continue to ski free everywhere in the Canadian Rockies
  • The number of resorts offering free skiing to older seniors is stable at four: Panorama. Fairmont, and Castle Mountain (over 75) and Marmot Basin (over 80).
